Node Keys grant participation rights in the Stacknet network. aISP software uses the node keys to connect to the network. Understanding node key pricing helps you evaluate the economics of becoming an aISP or Stack operator.

Stacknet itself doesn’t issue node keys, stacks do. Stacks earn an origination fee for providing these entry points.

What you get with a Node Key

  • 1 billion+ token allocation a key-specific max amount of ai you can provide
  • Network participation rights — conenct, execute tasks, earn Paperwork
  • Economic stake — earns from completed paperwork, *subject to slashing

Revenue Model

As an aISP with a Node Key, you earn from:

  1. Task execution — inference, generation, tool calling
  2. Warm pool bonuses — 10% token bonus for maintaining ready containers
  3. Reputation rewards — higher reputation = priority routing = more tasks
  4. Moonlight revenue — idle GPU monetization to external network
